Showa University Northern Yokohama Hospital opened in April 2001 as the 8th university hospital of Showa University, which contributes to the social and public welfare through the three fields of education, research, and medical care.
Equipped with an electronic medical record system, a picture archiving and communications system (PACS) for diagnostic imaging, and the latest medical equipment, this general hospital offers central medical care for Yokohama City's northern medical care zone.
Endeavoring to maintain the spirit of "Shisei Ikkan" (striving wholeheartedly to serve others at all times) that has been Showa University's school philosophy, we practice the highest team-based medicine where we offer warm hospitality and sympathy to the patients and their family members.
In partnership with other center hospitals in Yokohama City and with regional medical facilities, we supply best medical care sharing each role. Moreover, as a teaching hospital, we accept medical trainees from across the world. Consequently, we will contribute to advancement of medical care, aiming to be a continuously evolving hospital.
